At the rated air volume flow rate, the original filtration efficiency of the filter element should not be less than 99.5%. Heavy duty vehicles must have a large number of air filters due to their poor working conditions. The first stage is the cyclone prefilter (such as blade ring, cyclone tube, etc.), which is used to filter the coarse and large particle impurities with the filtration efficiency of over 80%. The second stage is the microporous paper filter element (generally called the main filter element), with the filtration efficiency of over 99.5%. Following the main filter element is a safety filter element which prevents dust from entering the engine during installation and replacement of the main filter element, or in case of accidental damage to the main filter element. The material of safety core is nonwoven mostly, also have use filter paper.
